Here is a month-by-month breakdown of what you can expect during your treatment at The Dental Studio.

Month 1: The Adjustment Phase

What Happens: You get your first set of trays. We might place “attachments” (tiny tooth-colored bumps) on your teeth.

Feeling: Your teeth might feel sore for 3-4 days. You will learn to speak without a lisp (usually takes 2 days).

Visual: No major visual changes yet, but you will feel the pressure.

Month 3: The “Wait, something is moving” Phase

What Happens: You are now on tray 6 or 7. You have mastered the routine.

Visual: If you had crowded teeth, you will notice flossing is easier. The tight contacts are opening up.

Month 6: The Visible Shift

What Happens: This is the halfway mark for many mild cases.

Visual: Friends start noticing. “Did you do something to your teeth?” Your smile looks broader. If you had a deep bite, your face might look slightly longer/slimmer.

Month 9: The Home Stretch

What Happens: The major movements are done. Now we are detailing—rotating that one stubborn canine or closing the final millimeter of a gap.

Visual: You are smiling confidently in photos. You can clearly see the end in sight.

Month 12+: Refinement & Retention

What Happens: Treatment is finished! We remove the attachments and polish your teeth. We might scan you for retainers.
